Gluten DQuick DResolution v4
Gluten DQuick DResolution v4.0 – Advanced HLA Typing Kit for Celiac Disease
The Gluten DQuick DResolution v4 system is an in vitro molecular diagnostic test for the detection of of HLA haplotypes DQ2 (DQ2.2 and DQ2.5), DQ8, DQ7.5, DQ2.3, DR3, DR4, DR7, DR11 and DR12, by Real-Time PCR.
Celiac disease is a chronic autoimmune enteropathy triggered by gluten ingestion in genetically predisposed individuals, leading to small intestinal damage and malabsorption.
Early identification of genetic predisposition is a key step in optimizing the diagnostic workflow and avoiding unnecessary invasive testing.
HLA-DQ2 and DQ8 class II heterodimers account for approximately 40% of celiac disease heritability, while overall heritability—including non-HLA genes—is estimated at around 75%. The DQ2.5 haplotype (DQA1*05 + DQB1*02) confers the highest genetic risk, with DQ2.2 (DQA1*02 + DQB1*02) and DQ8 (DQA1*03 + DQB1*03:02) also significantly associated. These haplotypes are present in over 95% of celiac patients, making their absence a powerful negative predictor of disease (<5% chance).
Gluten DQuick DResolution v4.0 is Clonit’s most advanced HLA typing kit for the genetic assessment of celiac disease predisposition.
The test amplifies and detects the following HLA class II alleles:
- DQA1*02, DQA1*03, DQA1*05
- DQB1*02, DQB1*03:01, DQB1*03:02
- DRB1*03, DRB1*04, DRB1*05, DRB1*07
This comprehensive panel allows the identification of key celiac disease risk haplotypes:
- DQ2 (DQ2.2, DQ2.3, DQ2.5)
- DQ7.5
- DQ8
The detection of DR3, DR4, DR5, and DR7 haplotypes — in linkage disequilibrium with DQ alleles — improves result validation and ensures reliable typing.
Why choose Gluten DQuick DResolution v4.0:
- High-resolution detection of DQ2 and DQ8 homozygosity
- Fully automated haplotype assignment with dedicated, user-friendly software
